Focus and Scope

Sense: Journal of Film and Television Studies is published twice a year (May and November) issued by the Faculty of Art and Record Media, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. Sense provides open access to the public to read abstracts and complete papers. Sense focuses on Television and Film studies. Each edition, Sense receives a manuscript that focuses on the following issues with an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach, which are:

1. Television Studies

2. Film Studies

3. Communication Strategies in the Field of Television and Film

4. Communication Models Used in the Field of Television and Film

5. The Study of Media Texts in Television Program and Film

6. Marketing Studies on Television and Film

7. Management Studies on Television and Film

Peer Review Process

Every article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers using a double-blind review method. Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterwards, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full-text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
